Procurement Officer/Bid Writer

As a Procurement Officer/Bid Writer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process and drafting bids and proposals for our healthcare company. You will research potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and maintain accurate records of procurement activities.

  • Research and identify potential suppliers and vendors.
  • Manage the procurement process, including drafting bids and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to obtain the best terms.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and contracts.

Qualifications (About You)

Essential criteria :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, bid writing, or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or bid writing.
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry preferred but not required.
